Wembley Avenue
Doubletake
Everything simple, when examined closely enough, reveals complexity. Viewed from any one side, this piece appears to be a simple structure assembled from children’s wooden blocks. On closer inspection however, the structure is comprised of some harder-to-visualise parts, particularly when considering how the pieces must fit together inside. The simplicity/complexity dichotomy is a favourite area of mine, and this piece focuses on the fallibility of face value.
