Valkyrie

This piece, like Engaretto, is a soul portrait of friend. I rendered it with the intention of generosity, mercy and radiance.

I used a stenciling technique to reduce bleeding between colours: Start each colour with a coat of its neighbours colour. This trick however didn’t work for the metallic colours, which have proven time and time again to be fiddly little bastards, particularly on canvas.
