Engaretto
I wanted to try making the smallest piece I could with spray paint. Here's what I came up with:
I took my inspiration from the attitudes and impact that two entwined friends of mine have on the world around them, and I made this as a gift for them.
The composition and the colour contrast came out just the way I wanted, and the red-black gradient worked much better than I thought it would, given so little room and such a small margin for error.
When working on canvas, I'll have to find a more precise way to find the edge of the piece, considering the fabric curves around the frame. That little difference is enough to wonk out the angles a little on such a small scale.
