Volume #2

If my life was a series of books, I really feel like I'm about to reach the end of volume #1. Several characters and plotlines will carry over of course, but with my parents (two main characters) dying, my focus swapping from games to scriptwriting, my shaky freedom from depression, moving to a new city and at my age, this feels like a big enough change at a good enough time to call it. The innocent years, the high school saga, the Qantm chapter, the England section, the game developer storyline, and now the year of shifting gears is approaching its end as the moving date looms and my 27th birthday approaches. I am hoping that what follows in volume 2 has some fundamental changes, changes big enough to warrant me moving interstate. Let me explain - it took me moving to England alone to change who I fundamentally was, and that change is one of my proudest achievements. I now feel a bit like I did pre-England, that is, frustrated and entangled the persona and lifestyle I've created for myself. It is in my nature to be generally unsatisfied with stability, to be nomadic, to to feel stagnant when standing still, always has been, and it feels like its time for another England-style clean slate.

I'll see you all again, and I love you all.
